" A man is developing himself when he grows, or earns, enough t provide decent conditions for himself and his family; he is not being developed if someone gives him these things"
Julius Kambarage Nyerere, from his book Uhuru na Maendeleo (Freedom and Development) 1973
The vision is to be one of the market leaders in the provision of investment in small businesses and entreprises in Africa. We want to economically empower entrepreneurs and small businesses by providing investment and financial services in a sustainable, ethical and profitable way in order to contribute to a considerable poverty reduction. With this burden in our hearts to positively touch lives, we are drawing first from savings from family and friends with the view to expand to other sources of finance.
According to the World Bank, remittances frrom the Diaspora to sub- Saharian Africa were about $11 Billions in 2007. Remittances from the UK-based Diaspora to developing countries are estimated to be about £2.3 Billions annually. Beyond remittances, the Diaspora plays a crucial role in forging new social, cultural and economic relationships, which help to channel wealth, information, ideas, skills and investment. We want to harness and direct the collective economic power of the Diaspora and others towards sustainable growth and job creation in Africa.

To provide training, resources and advice to small businesses, entreprises and entrepreneurs in Africa in order to create growth and provide jobs
To provide opportunities to other bodies to participate in the sustainable growth promotion in Africa
